Struggling to Overcome Unemployment

Before joining Generation Kenya, life was tough for Violet. With a diploma in Education, her journey had taken an unexpected turn after a failed marriage left her battling depression. Additionally, she was unemployed, continuously searching for an opportunity to rebuild her life for three years. I wanted something to reduce stress and Generation Kenya came at a good time.” She notes.

Skills That Transformed My Future

Violet joined the Retail and Restaurant Program. “The customer care and mindset topics, particularly on handling difficult clients, were my most exciting topics,” She highlights. “The teaching style, incorporating role-plays, made learning engaging and practical.” These were key lessons that shaped both my personal and professional life.

A New Beginning: Joining Sheth Naturals

After completing the course, Violet secured a position as a Production Assistant Manager at Sheth Naturals. This was a turning point in her life. The skills she learned during the program became essential tools from handling production processes to managing operations. With grit and hard work, she progressed to become the Head of the Training Department.
