I am an accomplished and highly skilled youth leader trained by Mckinsey and Company on the Ability to Execute and distinguished YALI alumnus, I possess an exceptional track record in driving positive change in the areas of youth employability, entrepreneurship education systems, and community building.My extensive experience and expertise in program development, project management, alumni relations, and communications further reinforce my capabilities as a strategic leader in the field.
My outstanding proficiency in writing has garnered significant recognition, and I have been honored to contribute to publications such as the Daily Nation, The Standard, and the Education Newspaper in Kenya. Through these contributions, I have been able to share my opinions on skills development, education, and youth empowerment, earning admiration and respect from various stakeholders that have informed policy decisions and youth economic strengthening.
Fueled by my unwavering passion for promoting decent work and supporting evidence-based education systems, I underwent specialized training with the International Labour Organization on the Future of Work in the Rural Economy and Tracer Studies. This training has equipped me with the invaluable skills necessary to design and implement youth-led employability programs, ensuring positive and sustainable employment outcomes.
Furthermore, I have made significant contributions to various studies and case studies in the field of youth employability and entrepreneurship, both in Kenya and South Africa, thanks to the invaluable support and collaboration with the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD). These research endeavors have allowed me to delve deeper into understanding the unique challenges and opportunities faced by young people in these regions, leading to the development of evidence-based strategies and solutions to enhance their employability prospects and entrepreneurial ventures.
In addition to my professional achievements, I also serve as a dedicated volunteer
communication lead for the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Network, where I play a crucial role in fostering effective communication and collaboration among alumni, furthering the organization's mission and impact.
I have played a key role in shaping policies and initiatives that foster a conducive environment for youth empowerment, skills development, and sustainable economic growth. I continue to drive positive change in the lives of youth, fostering their empowerment and facilitating their journey toward a prosperous and successful future.
